In recent days, many friends, family and even unknown people who connect with me through social networks or my email have asked me a multitude of questions about how to perform various actions and operations in the Amazon eReader, or what is the same in the different existing Kindle models.
That is why I am going to begin to answer some of these questions through interesting tutorials in which I will try to solve little by little various very common doubts and that will surely get you out of doubts and from the odd trouble in more than an occasion.
The first tutorial is related to a question that I have been asked dozens of times and that is none other than that of How to download eBooks or digital books on our Kindle if we do not have a WiFi or 3G connection for it.
First of all, we must have the eBooks that we want to save on our Kindle downloaded to our computer, whether they are purchased or downloaded for free (remember that free does not mean pirated, since for example on Amazon there are many digital books that you can download for free) or have them saved within our personal Amazon account.
If we want transfer eBooks or documents to our Kindle that we have saved on our computer we must carry out the following steps:
- Connect your Kindle to the computer using the USB cable and wait for it to recognize it, it will appear the same as when we connected a memory stick. You will find it generally in "Start" and then in "My Computer" or "Computer". On Mac, the Kindle will appear on the desktop
- Now open your Kindle and the folder "Documents" will be where you can save everything you want to store in it
- You can carry out this action by dragging the selected content and placing it inside the folder
- Remember to disconnect your Kindle following the method recommended by your computer's operating system
If all the steps have been carried out correctly, the content that you have copied to your Kindle should already be displayed on the home screen of your device.
If we want transfer eBooks or documents that we have purchased from Amazon we must follow the following steps:
- Locate the content you want to transfer to your Kindle on the page of your personal Amazon account dedicated to it and called "Manage my Kindle"
- Connect your Kindle to the computer using the USB cable and wait for it to recognize it, it will appear the same as when we connected a memory stick. You will find it generally in "Start" and then in "My Computer" or "Computer". On Mac, the Kindle will appear on the desktop
- Press the "Actions" button that you will find next to the document and select ยซDownload and transfer via USBยป, do not forget to select the destination Kindle if you have several registered with the same account
More information - Amazon already sells more eBooks than paper books
Hello I congratulate you for the page and I found it because I need help since they scammed me and bought a kรญndle that was blocked to register and as a newbie I did not know. Is there anything I can do?
The kindle does not work, everything is either paid or you have to register, which requires you to give your card number. That already arouses suspicions
