I use a much simpler method that Pedro Román discovered for me. http://www.leemaslibros.com
Just send an email to the address associated with the Kindle putting the PDF file as an attachment and "CONVERT" as the subject of the message.
Send to Kindle is called, we have already talked about it on occasion but what we wanted with this article was to offer an interesting alternative.
A greeting and thanks for the input.
Hi, I think Elías is not referring to the send to kindle, but to the option that the Kindle gives us to send pdf, txt and mobi as an attachment in our mail.
Better is "Send to Kindle" from the same amazon ..
We have already talked about this method (possibly the best of all) but what we are looking for with this article is to offer alternatives to people.
A greeting!
The problem is not so much converting the file from one format to another, but rather that PDF is a format intended for printing, not for reading. In a PDF, the text has been adjusted to a specific paper size, and the information on paragraphs and lines has been lost, so trying to display that same text on another device than the one for which it was designed is an odyssey.
It is like trying to convert a photo taken from a book page to text. It is not that it is impossible (there are the OCRs), but since so much information has been lost in the conversion to image, many things have to be invented, and the result is very imperfect.
The problem is in how you say that it is a printing format but that we need to read and view daily ...
Thank you very much for your contribution, it's really good.
A greeting and thanks again!!
I just tried the online conversion offered here… the same result: the resulting document is a mess…
