Currently Spain is experiencing political chaos due to last year's elections that have not resulted in a stable government, but Spain is not the only country with political controversy. The United States is another of the countries that at least we can say has a serious political controversy and we could even say that a serious political crisis.
Candidate Trump is wreaking havoc on the American population , to the point that everything he hates turns to gold. The latest example is the US Constitution, which has even surpassed Harry Potter in sales on Amazon.
It all started when the father of a soldier killed in the Iraq War appeared at a Democratic Party rally. The father pulled out a paperback edition of the U.S. Constitution and harshly criticized Trump's words, stating that people need to read the Constitution. The father, named Khizr Khan, ended by saying that if Trump wanted, he would lend him his copy.
In response to these words, the $1 edition of the United States Constitution has taken off in the sales charts and on Amazon it has not only reached number 1 but has positioned itself on par with Harry Potter and the Cursed Child that was launched a few days ago.
And curiously, the edition Khizr Khan held during the rally is not the same edition being sold on Amazon, which leads me to believe that Americans are doing this as an act of protest. While the whole thing has strong political undertones, it is nonetheless curious that a document like the United States Constitution, which is supposed to be public and free, is one of the best-selling titles on sites like Amazon . Now , will the same thing happen on Amazon Spain? Will the text of the Spanish Constitution see a resurgence after this news?
