The craze for large screens in reading devices seems to have finally arrived. Following the launch of the Sony DPT-S1 and other models, now companies, both known and unknown, are launching devices with a large screen.
The last device within this category is reMarkable, an eReader or rather, a digital notebook that has a large screen to be able to take note of everything as well as to read it. This device cIt has a stylus and a very interesting price for many.
reMarkable is a reading and writing device that has a 1 Ghz processor, 512 Mb of ram and a 10,3-inch screen with a resolution of 1872 x 1404 pixels and 206 ppi. This device has a proprietary Linux-based system and 8 Gb of internal storage. In addition to having a touch screen, reMarkable has a stylus that will allow us to take notes on its screen.

This device will have priced at $ 529 without any add-ons. But now it can be purchased for a lower price due to its launch. So if we reserve this device, reMarkable will cost about $ 379. A price difference that scares many experts.
We have been living for a long time the vaporware phenomenon, devices that are advertised, people buy it and then nothing is received and nothing is known about its official launch.
Many say that we would be facing a similar case, however the benefits seem to be so detailed that it is difficult to believe that the device does not exist. If it exists, reMarkable could compete hard with other large screen devices such as the Onyx Boox Max or the Sony DPT-S1. In any case, this is something that will happen next August 2017 or maybe not? What do you think?
