The craze for large screens in reading devices seems to have finally arrived. Following the launch of the Sony DPT-S1 and other models, now companies, both known and unknown, are launching devices with a large screen.
The last device in this category is reMarkable , an eReader, or rather, a digital notebook with a large screen for taking notes and reading. This device includes a stylus and has a very attractive price for many users.
reMarkable is a read/write device with a 1 GHz processor, 512 MB of RAM, and a 10,3-inch screen with a resolution of 1872 x 1404 pixels and 206 ppi . This device runs a proprietary Linux-based operating system and has 8 GB of internal storage . In addition to its touchscreen, reMarkable includes a stylus for taking notes on its display.

This device will be priced at $529 without any accessories. But it can now be purchased for a lower price due to its launch. So, if you pre-order this device, the reMarkable will cost around $379 . A price difference that alarms many experts.
We have been experiencing the vaporware phenomenon for some time now ; devices are announced, people buy them, and then nothing is received or anything is known about their official launch.
Many claim we're facing a similar situation, however, the specifications seem so detailed that it's hard to believe the device doesn't exist. If it does exist, the reMarkable could compete fiercely with other large-screen devices like the Onyx Boox Max or the Sony DPT-S1 .
