Now you can gift audiobooks to your friends through Audible

Audible

Audible has unveiled a new feature for gifting audiobooks to other users , allowing you to share a single audiobook with your friends. Those who receive this first audiobook for free will have Audible pay the authors, actors, and other rights holders the equivalent of the title's value.

If you're an Audible member and have purchased an audiobook, you can instantly send it to your friends via email, text, or WhatsApp using any iOS, Android, or Windows 10 device. If your friend isn't an Audible member, they'll receive an invitation to create an account so they can listen to the audiobook.

Another goal of this new Audible initiative is to make it easy to gift a previously purchased audiobook. Simply click on the "Send this book" option in "My Library," and the audiobook will be sent free of charge to all the contacts you choose to include.

If this is the recipient's first time receiving an audiobook this way, they don't need to sign up for a free trial or use their credit card to obtain the title. Ultimately, it's a way for a growing service to raise awareness and offer an alternative format for those who don't have much time to read during the day but are stuck in traffic every day on their way home from work.

Not only that, but also when we're exercising or even just working from home, we put on our headphones, launch Audible, and have our favorite author with the audiobook we've purchased.

A very interesting proposal from Audible to encourage listening to this type of product, and it adds to the other proposal from a few days ago.
