Nook GlowLight Plus is the name of the next eReader that we have been talking about for a long time. Well, after leaked images and errors on the web we can already say that the Nook GlowLight Plus is official and is sold on the B&N website.
The new Barnes & Noble eReader doesn't offer anything groundbreaking: a 6-inch e-ink touchscreen with Carta technology . It has 300 dpi resolution and no expandable internal storage. We're all familiar with these features, and older eReaders have them too. However, the new Nook GlowLight Plus is water and shock resistant , like the Kobo H2O or the Tolino Vision 3 HD—more similar to the latter than the former, given its 6-inch screen.
The price of this device is also striking, as it will cost around $129 , a lower price than the €159 that the Tolino Vision 3 HD costs, and it seems that the name will be the only thing that changes in those eReaders.
Furthermore, B&N has not discontinued its older eReaders, so the Nook GlowLight is still being sold but at a lower price, $99, a slightly high price compared to the basic Kindle but not bad for an eReader like the Nook GlowLight.
Now we'll have to wait and see if people like the new Nook GlowLight Plus, as the library's success largely depends on consumer taste. So far, their tablets don't seem to have been well received in the market, unlike Amazon's tablets, even though the Samsung and Black & White tablet is technologically superior to Amazon's.
However, I personally think this new B&N eReader will be interesting for the market, a fairly well-received option, or at least that's what it seems to me . What do you think of this eReader? Would you buy the new Nook GlowLight Plus?
