Yesterday, taking advantage of Sunday afternoon, I decided to compare two of the best-rated devices on the market that include a reading light. I'm talking about the Amazon Kindle Paperwhite , which has become a benchmark in the e-book market , and the slightly lesser-known Nook Simple Touch Glowlight, which has nonetheless won over everyone who has bought it.
We're definitely going to talk about a couple of devices from two companies that currently dominate the eReader market and are fierce competitors. Will we see many differences between two of their most powerful devices?

If we were to begin analyzing these two devices by examining their exteriors, we would see two very different devices in terms of design but very similar in terms of specifications . Both have a six-inch E-Ink Pearl screen, although in the case of the Kindle Paperwhite, this is an HD screen with a slightly higher resolution: 600 x 800 pixels for the Nook versus 758 x 1024 pixels for the Kindle. Their dimensions are very similar, differing only by a few millimeters (165 x 127 x 11,9 for the Nook versus 169 x 117 x 9,1 for the Kindle).
Its weight will not be a problem in either case since they only differ by 15 grams in favor of the Nook, which is somewhat lighter.

Looking inside, the differences become even smaller , as both devices offer 2GB of internal memory and a very similar 800MHz processor. Both models also feature a USB port, although the Noo uses a microUSB port.
As usual, the Kindle does not allow to expand the capacity of the device through microSD cards and that does allow the new Nook model.
Undoubtedly, we are looking at two very similar devices that can only be differentiated in details, such as the price, 129 euros for the Kindle versus 155 for the Nook , the quality of the light they provide for reading in the dark, which is more a matter of taste, or their design.
To be honest, I am going to leave the duel in a technical tie, although if I had to buy one of the two devices, it is possible that I would lean before the Kindle Paperwhite, because of its price, its design and especially because of tradition and quality. that Amazon can offer us.
