During the last Frankfurt Fair we have not only seen an eReader from the Chinese manufacturer Boeye but we have also seen an eReader from iReader, the Chinese manufacturer that claims to be a success in China. At least that is what the figures that have announced to the four winds indicate it, since only in devices, iReader has sold more than a million electronic books in China.
To celebrate and continue with this, iReader has revealed its next model , an eReader with a large screen called iReader 2 or also known as iReader Plus.
This device is interesting in terms of hardware, as it has a 6,8-inch screen with a resolution of 1800 x 1200 pixels . This screen is backlit, touch-sensitive, and uses Carta technology. The eReader's processor is dual-core, accompanied by 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal storage . This capacity can be expanded via a microSD card slot. This model also has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, but it lacks an audio output, so audiobooks will not work.
iReader Plus is a large screen eReader coming soon to Europe
The price of this eReader will be approximately €120 , an attractive price for an eReader with a screen of this size, and it seems this model will be coming to Europe, or so the company representatives have indicated. They state that, among the devices and users of their apps, iReader is a major eReader brand in China , something that is undeniable after seeing the hardware of this device, but things work differently in Europe and the United States.
In any case, I think the iReader Plus is an interesting eReader, not only for its price/quality ratio but also for its screen , a larger-than-usual screen that many users will appreciate when using it as a reading device.
