- In the event that you have the Kindle connected to a computer or to the power, disconnect it
- Press, without pressing, the power button. As usual, we will see the LED light that incorporates this button in green for approximately two seconds.
- Now turn off the device by pressing the power button for five seconds. The LED light should blink three times. Do not use it until the Kindle screen goes completely blank
- Turn on your Kindle 3 as you normally do
- If your Kindle 3 still isn't working, we have a problem, but it's not impossible to fix. If you are in this case, hold down the power button for about 15 seconds. That will cause the device to reboot completely
If you have followed the steps correctly, your Kindle 3 device should have already restarted, but if you haven't succeeded, we encourage you to try the same process again, charging your device to 100% first.
