A new version of the Boyue T63, which we discussed previously , is expected on October 31st and is already available for pre -order from banggood.com , a Chinese sales website that sells all kinds of e-reader brands that are difficult to find in other countries.
This new model is the Boyue T63 JDRead, and its price in dollars will be $145. It launches on October 31st and bears a strong resemblance to the InkBook Obsidian. The difference between the two e-readers lies in the 300ppi resolution.
As for the rest of the specifications and software, it's pretty much the same. It runs Android 4.2.2 and allows you to install apps on it. It has 8 GB of internal memory and a microSD card slot that lets you expand that storage by up to an additional 32 GB.
It features an adjustable front light and Wi-Fi connectivity for downloading ebooks, files, apps, and other content. One of its best features is the glass screen and the page-turn buttons located on either side. The downside is that these buttons sometimes don't respond as well as one might expect with third-party apps.
