A few days ago the Frankfurt Fair took place in Germany, a Fair in which some Chinese manufacturers have presented private label eReaders that we will know soon, although we do not know when.
One of the most striking has been the Boeye T103 a big screen eReader, of a big screen. Boeye T103 has a 10,3-inch screen, an electronic ink screen that will feature a resolution of 1404 x 1872 pixels.
Technology this screen will be Mobius and will have 267 dpi, a more than acceptable resolution for a large screen eReader but surpassed by smaller models such as the Kobo Glo HD.
Boeye T103 will have Mobius technology on its screen
In this case there are not only images of the device but also a video that was shot at the Fair. This video shows us a rather interesting device, but still the screen is darker than the Kobo Aura One screen. In any case we are talking about more than two inches more that will make the Boeye T103 suitable not only for ebooks but also for pdf files.
Unfortunately we do not know when this new eReader will hit the market or what price it will finally have or if it will be available for Europe. But surely that brands that work with Boeye like Bookeen, they will launch their respective models with this large eReader.
And this Boeye T103 was not the only eReader we met, it was seen too a Boeye model with a 6-inch screen, something nothing out of the ordinary because the eReader has an illuminated and touch screen, like many other previous Boeye models.
It seems that it means that we will have new eReaders shortly, eReaders with large screens, But Are they new or an attempt to compete with the new eReaders from Kobo and Amazon? What do you think?
