It is nothing new that books or ebooks are exposed or promoted through social networks, but it does not stop drawing much attention that similar things are done by companies that are responsible for selling the ebook, in this case we are referring to Apple.
Apparently the great giant of detail you will start talking about your successes, creating discussions and even announcements of your successes in iBooks through an official Instagram account. Thus, the famous social network will be part of the services that APple will offer its editors and authors, well, rather, it will be one more tool that is used when promoting the ebook.
Apple is not the first company to use Instagram to sell ebooks
Apparently Apple's new strategy is to use social networks to advertise and hype its products, not only musicals but also those offered in iBooks. Thus, currently there are accounts on Twitter and Instagram where followers will not only be able to see the editorial news but they will also be able to talk with authors or comment on phrases from the ebooks, something that will create a community around the editorial title.
The truth is that using social media to promote ebooks or books is nothing new, but it is usually something common for small bookstores, it is not usual for a large company like Apple to do this to compete with Amazon sales. If we take into account social networks and taking into account that a Twitter account was recently opened for the same purpose, I would not be surprised if the next few days we will see how the iBooks ebooks are on Facebook.
