Analysis of the Papyre 630 in great detail

Papyre 630

A few days ago we were lucky enough to get our hands on a Papyre 630 , one of the best eReaders on the market, thanks to the collaboration of Papyre, whom we publicly thank here, and as expected, we subjected it to our usual tests, which I can tell you now it passed with flying colors.

This e-book is a very powerful device that also incorporates light , one of the features that users increasingly consider essential, and with a finish and design that is hard to find in another device of this type.

To begin putting everything in order, let's discover the main features and specifications of this Papyre 630 :

  • Size: 170 x 110 x 9,5 mm
  • Weight: 190 grams including battery
  • Screen: 6-inch capacitive touchscreen, e-ink, with a resolution of 1024 x 758
  • Processor: RK2828 with a speed of 1.2 GHZ
  • Storage: 4 GB expandable via microSD card
  • Battery: 1.500 mAh Li-Polymer
  • Supported formats: TXT, PDF, EPUB, PDB, FB2, RTF, MOBI, DRM, JPG, PNG, BMP, GIF
  • Connectivity: WiFi b / g / N connection, USB port (micro) and microSD card reader

One of the most striking features of its specifications, and one that surely goes unnoticed by almost everyone, is that this Papyre eReader is capable of recognizing documents in MOBI format , that is, the format of Amazon eBooks. This is great news because we can buy digital books from Amazon's digital library and read them on this device without needing to convert them or perform any prior processes.

One of the things that surprised us most when we opened the device box was finding this user guide, so necessary for most users and especially for all those who have an eReader in their hands for the first time.

Papyre

If I had to give you my personal opinion of this device, it would be very positive. I really liked its exterior design and especially the pleasant feel it has in my hands. Its light and size are undoubtedly another plus, along with its price, which can vary depending on where you buy it but is usually between €110 and €129 . If I had to find a fault, it would perhaps be its occasional lack of responsiveness, although it's neither significant nor a constant issue.

My final assessment is that this is a great device, with a very interesting price and that it has nothing to envy to other similar devices on the market.
