In the last few hours, Amazon has updated all its store websites to officially unveil a new tablet, the Fire HD 8. This tablet is an updated version of the 8-inch Fire tablet , characterized by its Alexa compatibility and a long-lasting battery with approximately 12 hours of battery life.
The new Fire HD 8 is available for pre-order now, but shipping will begin on September 21st . Those who purchase the tablet now can get it for €109, while those who order it after September 21st will have to pay €40 more.

The new Fire HD 8 has an 8-inch screen with a resolution of 1.280 x 800 pixels. The device has a 1,3 GHz quad-core processor with 1,5 GB of RAM.
There will be 16GB and 32GB RAM models, but both will have a microSD card slot allowing for expansion up to 200GB. The rear camera will have a 2MP sensor, while the front camera will have a VGA sensor. In addition to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, the new Fire HD 8 has a 4.750mAh battery , a large battery for this tablet that will allow for up to 12 hours of battery life.
The operating system of this tablet will be Fire OS 5.1, but in this case it will have all possible updates, including connection with Alexa , Amazon's virtual assistant, so we can use the tablet not only as a reading device but also to shop, listen to music, etc...
