The jury's arguments

According to the minutes, the novel is based on the narrative tradition of the region and reconfigures it from a female point of view , with linguistic discoveries and a symbolic architecture rich in nuances.

The text contrasts the routine of an isolated protagonist, a direct exploration of desire , and the irruption of ominous violence; a play of tensions that links female genealogies, invisible work, urban ruin, and nostalgia for the rural world.

The committee also highlighted the creation of eccentric and endearing characters , along with a poetic and precise pulse that unfolds dense atmospheres and scenes of great intensity.
