Currently, there are two eReaders on the market that, based on their price and quality, are considered the best at first glance : the Kindle Paperwhite 3 and the Kobo Glo HD. However, they are not the only options available, and sometimes they aren't the best, especially when it comes to personal preferences.
So we wanted to analyze three eReaders that are alternatives to the Kindle and the Kobo Glo HD , which are not only easy on the wallet but also suit our tastes. Furthermore, they all feature the latest e-ink screen technology , namely Carta. And the price of these three eReaders is also affordable . So, which eReader should you choose? Keep reading to find out.

Nook Glowlight Plus
This eReader has a 6-inch screen with a high resolution of around 300 ppi. It competes directly with the Kindle and Kobo. Its price is $129, almost the same as its competitors. The main difference compared to other eReaders is that the Nook Glowlight Plus is water and shock resistant , something its competitors lack. Furthermore, this device has recently been hacked, so in addition to being water resistant, it can also function as a calendar or an eReader-tablet for the same price.

Tagus Lux 2016
We recently discussed this eReader, and while it hasn't technically improved much compared to its rivals, it does feature Carta technology and performs very well as an eReader/tablet. This makes it ideal for those who want an electronic calendar or simply a place to take notes while reading an ebook. Furthermore, unlike other eReaders, the Tagus Lux 2016 includes access to the La Casa del Libro ebook store, making it perfect for those who frequently shop at La Casa del Libro. All of this comes at the same price as other eReaders, around €119.

Tolino Shine 2 HD
This Tolino Alliance eReader isn't the company's best, but it offers the best value for money compared to the rest. The Tolino Shine 2 HD is an improvement over its predecessor, and unlike the others, it allows you to expand its memory using Tolino's cloud storage . Additionally, Germany has several hotspots providing free internet access . This eReader costs €119, similar to other eReaders with comparable features. Unfortunately, the premium version costs an additional €40 and offers the same features plus water and shock resistance.
Conclusions on these 3 alternative eReaders
Along with the most famous eReaders on the market, these three ereaders form the five best solutions for those who want to have a cheap and powerful eReader. Curiously, it seems that a horizon of 119 euros has been established in the world of the eReader and these five eReaders certify it. When it comes to choosing an eReader, I personally would not know which one to choose and possibly stick with all five eReaders. Neither option is bad nor is it by far the best. Unfortunately it is a difficult decision, but if you are between one of these eReaders and a different one, better choose one of these five devices, it will be the best option by far.
